Seguros Equidad reafirma su compromiso con la educación y la responsabilidad social

En Honduras, la falta de acceso a recursos educativos sigue siendo un desafío para miles de niños y niñas. Según datos del Instituto Nacional de Estadística (INE), más del 30% de los hogares en el país enfrentan dificultades económicas para costear útiles escolares, afectando el rendimiento y la permanencia de los estudiantes en el sistema educativo. Esta situación es aún más crítica en comunidades del norte del país, donde muchas familias deben priorizar otros gastos esenciales sobre la compra de material escolar.
Conscientes de esta realidad y fieles a nuestro compromiso con la educación y la responsabilidad social, en Seguros Equidad llevamos a cabo la entrega de kits escolares a más de 80 niños y niñas afiliados a la Cooperativa CLARET y a estudiantes del Instituto María Regina, en el norte del país. Los beneficiados, que cursan educación prebásica y básica, recibieron materiales esenciales para su aprendizaje, contribuyendo a su desarrollo académico y bienestar.
Además de la entrega de kits, la jornada incluyó una charla especial sobre educación en seguros, impartida por la Licenciada Carmen Mejía, quien resaltó la importancia de conocer los beneficios de la protección financiera desde una edad temprana. La iniciativa no solo brindó apoyo material a los estudiantes, sino que también promovió una cultura de previsión y seguridad en sus familias.
Este esfuerzo es posible gracias a la confianza de nuestros clientes, quienes nos permiten seguir implementando programas de impacto social que beneficien a comunidades vulnerables. En Seguros Equidad, creemos que la educación es la base para el desarrollo de un país y, por ello, continuamos marcando la diferencia con acciones concretas en favor de la niñez hondureña.
